One unfortunate thing though is that it doesn't benefit from any of the smithing perks so in order to get it past flawless quality you have to get over 100 smithing with gear that is enchanted with fortify smithing and/or potions that fortify your smithing skill. Considering how magical the ES universe is I'm not surprised by enchanted weapons being able to recharge themselves.īut to answer your question I think it's pretty useful throughout most of the game. Some people might think this breaks the game or something but I consider it canon in the Elder Scrolls universe because it was a feature in Morrowind.
You can choose in the settings how fast it recharges too. Also if you use the mod 'Sun Enchantment Made Playable' I think it scales with your restoration skill.Īlso this mod called 'Passive Weapon Enchantment Recharging' recharges your enchanted weapons over time. That's usually my experience when I have high destruction skill and a fire enchanted weapon.
Meaning that if you have high destruction skill your enchantment will almost never get used up when hitting enemies. Its taking a very long while to need recharging I think the fire enchantments efficiency scales with your destruction skill.
